History of Auriton
Auriton Solutions was founded in Minnesota in 1991 as a credit counseling and community education agency. Since its earliest beginnings, Auriton has been committed to helping people in crisis resolve their financial situation.
Auriton learned early on that by intervening in crisis, they were able to help modify consumer behavior. Behavior modification and education form the cornerstones of how Auriton helps people regain control of their financial destiny.
Certified Counselors
Auriton Solutions is going one step further in providing committed service, support and education to consumers: all Auriton Solutions counselors must be certified (Accredited Financial Counselor) in debt counseling. The personal and professional education that each counselor gains in becoming certified undoubtedly will be passed along to our clients.
What is an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC)?
Accredited Financial Counselors have certified skills to assist individuals and families in the complex process of financial decision making, including the ability to:
- Educate clients in sound financial principles
- Assist clients in the process of overcoming their financial indebtedness
- Help clients identify and modify ineffective money management behaviors
- Guide clients in developing successful strategies to achieve their financial goals
- Support clients as they work through their financial challenges
- Help clients develop new perspectives on the dynamics of money in relation to family, friends and individual self-esteem.

- Information Auriton gathers through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. Optional Voluntary Information
We offer the following options for communication, which require some type of voluntary submission of personal information by users:
Free Consultation
We offer a form that allows users to fill in personal and creditor information. Users are required to fill in their name, address, phone number and email address. This information is required so our system can check and re-route duplicate entries. This information is also necessary so our company can respond appropriately to the user.
Email Form
We offer a form that allows users to request help, give feedback or make a comment or suggestion. Users are only required to fill in their name, phone number and email address. This information is required so Auriton can respond appropriately to the user.
Website/Account Management Surveys
We offer a survey that allows users to fill in comments or suggestions. These are voluntary submissions to request help or make a comment or suggestion. We do not track any user information.
Customer Satisfaction Surveys
Auriton may occasionally conduct user surveys to comply with our ISO Operating Procedure QOP-82-01. We never share any of this information about specific individuals with any third party. Contact information is used for quality assurance purposes. Auriton is continually seeking to improve our level of service to everyone looking for assistance.
Usage tracking
Auriton tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not associate this information with data about individual users. Auriton does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).
Cookies
Auriton does not place cookies in the browser files of your computer. You do need cookies to submit our consultation form, email form or participate in surveys.
USE OF INFORMATION
Auriton Solutions places a high value on the trust that you place in us when sharing personal information. We promise not to abuse that trust by inappropriately using the information you provide to us. We request this information in order to provide you with the most complete and accurate solution possible. We will not sell or give away your private information to any third party.
When we use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you. We track search terms entered in search engines and search directories as one of many measures of what interests our users.
